WHY SUNERGIA PRODUCTS?

There's a lot of healthy food alternatives on the market nowadays -- so what makes Sunergia's products standout? The biggest thing is a passion for soy and healthy eating and living, and the integrity to stay true to the vision of  making the food GOOD. That may sound abstract and corny -- but it's the truth.  And it trickles down from the abstract everyday in the form of: our decision to  switch over from Tamari Soy Sauce to organic wheat free tamari soy sauce to  accomodate folks with wheat intolerance, or our re-inventing the Spicy Italian  Sausage recipe in our kitchen when we discovered that a key ingredient of the  old recipe was unavailable in Organic form, or when Jon says we have to redesign  the labels again cause he tinkered with the recipes (again) cause he wanted to get the sodium down and the protein content higher. And it trickles down from the abstract everyday when Ben, our 2 year old (and youngest vice-president), is  sitting in the office eating a big plate of pasta cooked up with our tofu. So it's genuinely important to us, on a day to day basis, that we strive to make  the food as wholesome and as appetizing as we possibly can. Here's some qualities that we've been able to achieve so far:
ORGANIC & NON-GMO
We've strived very hard to design the recipes so that they contain only the  best ingredients, and searched long and hard to find distributers that could supply us with just what we wanted in our products. All our products certified organic; either OCIA Certified Organic, in Canada, or QCS Certified Organic in the States. 
KOSHER, VEGAN &  WHEAT-FREE
We've tried to make our products as accessible to as many people's dietary  needs as we possibly could -- again, designing and redesigning the recipes to keep the delicious flavors, while still meeting everyone's needs. All our  products are vegan and certified kosher by Montreal Kosher (a very strict  certifier) -- and all our tofu is completely wheat-free.

VERY FLAVORFUL

It all boils down to whether it tastes good. If your food doesn't taste good,  all the beautiful nutritionals aren't gonna make you spoon it into your mouth on a daily basis, and keep yourself filled up with healthy food. Our recipes are  very diverse -- we've got a tofu or soy sausage for all occassions, all tastes,  and for all kinds of dishes -- and they're all absolutely delicious.

READY-TO-EAT

We had to do something to combat grandma's propensity to argue that "Sure tofu's good for you -- and the nice man at the chinese grocery down the street  cooks it up so well -- but in my kitchen, I can't make it taste like anything." Well, all our products are fully-spiced and marinated, and while there are some delicious recipes for cooking the stuff up into elaborate dishes, they are all  ready-to-eat right out of the package.

RICH IN PROTEIN AND FIBER

While soy products, in general, are great sources of protein and fiber, we've enhanced ours with Organic Textured Soy Flour, giving our products some of the highest soy protein and fiber content of any you can find.

NICELY TEXTURED

We already start with very firm tofu, but another advantage of adding  Textured Soy Flour to our products is that it significantly improves their texture and chewiness. If you want to encourage people to switch over and eat  soy instead of their favorite meat dish, we think you should create alternatives which make them feel like they aren't sacrificing anything in the process, or  they won't stick with it. All our products have a very satisfying texture that you can really sink your teeth into.
